Behind every Rudra Luxe garment is a pair of hands that has spent a lifetime learning a single craft. These are not factory workers. They are artists — inheritors of traditions that predate industrialisation, practitioners of techniques that cannot be replicated by machine.

We call them our artisans. We consider them our foundation.

Who They Are

Our artisan network spans across India — from the narrow lanes of Lucknow where chikankari embroiderers work by natural light, to the looms of Banaras where weavers count threads the way musicians count beats. Many come from families where the craft has been passed down for three, four, sometimes five generations.

They are predominantly women. They work from home studios and small workshops. They are the quiet backbone of India's luxury textile economy — and they are chronically underrecognised.
